Neil P. Chue Hong is currently the Director of the Software Sustainability Institute and a Senior Research Fellow with Edinburgh Parallel Computing Centre, University of Edinburgh, U.K. He received the M.Phys. degree in computational physics from the University of Edinburgh. His research interests include software sustainability, research software ecosystems, and the impact of research software policy. He is the Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Open Research Software, co-editor of "Software Engineering for Science", co-author of "Best Practices for Scientific Computing" and a Fellow of the British Computer Society.
