Ana Ruvalcaba

Ana Ruvalcaba is a leader and Steering Council member for Project Jupyter and is Director of Jupyter’s work at California State Polytechnic University. Cal Poly, as it’s commonly referred to, is also her alma mater where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Ethnic Studies. With over a decade of experience in small, medium, and large enterprises specializing in software environments, she brings a valuable set of experiences and business acumen to her innovative role within Project Jupyter. Her current area of focus is exploring the creation of frameworks, systems, and processes that open source software projects can utilize to solve the unique sustainability, organizational, and diversity challenges they face.
