I am a 3rd year PhD student at the University of Washington in the department of Chemical Engineering.
I am lucky to be a part of the Disease Directed Engineering Lab (PI: Elizabeth Nance). I get the pleasure of doing my research in high throughput data science for analysis of brain cells. I learned to code at the beginning of my PhD, and it has quickly become a huge passion of mine and part of my research.
I also really love engineering education, science communication, and my mentees are a big reason why I feel so lucky to be a PhD student :)
