Rowan Cockett

Rowan Cockett is a technology entrepreneur focused on science communication, helping to start Visible Geology, SimPEG, GeoSci.xyz, and 3point Science, which made geoscience visualization tools and was later acquired by Seequent in 2016. Rowan obtained his PhD from the University of British Columbia in computational geophysics in 2017. His new startup, iooxa.com, is a platform for creating interactive, explorable explanations tailored to education and communicating research with extensions into Jupyter and data-science.
